Mike Hodgson is many things: He’s a comedian at his Collingwood retirement home; He’s an actor, with multiple appearances on Trailer Park Boys; A producer as well, and a life member of the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Nova Scotia. Mike is also a war veteran. He spent over 40 years as a Commanding Officer of several chips.

Carter Watkinson is an 18 year-old high school student at Jean Vanier Catholic High School. The two sat down to chat about their lives. Mike began telling Carter about his time as a producer. “I have produced three shows: HMS Pinafore, Ruddifore, and Gondoliers,” said Hodgson.
Carter asked Mike if war changed his views on the world? “No, not really, but I had two friends come back with PTSD.” Carter; If you don’t mind me asking, do you suffer from it? “No, I’m lucky that way,” said Mike.
