Warrant Issued For Barrie Man In No Frills Theft
Suspect identified from surveillance video
Barrie Police have issued a warrant for a 26-year-old man in an August 28 theft from the No Frills store on Wellington Street.
Police say the suspect, identified through surveillance video, was able to break free of a store Loss Prevention Officer, but not before the LPO was able to recover a bottle of body spray and a box of cookies from the suspect’s bag.
The warrant includes charges of Theft Under $5000, Escape Lawful Custody and Fail to Comply with Probation Order.
The suspect is described as:
- Male, white
- 5’9” and approximately 155 pounds
- Wearing a chain with a cross, blue mirrored sunglasses, black Under Armour T-shirt with the words “Super Elite Football”, black Michael Jordan gym shorts and flip flops
