SEARCH WARRANT LEADS TO ARREST IN DRUG TRAFFICKING INVESTIGATION IN WASAGA

Ontario provincial police executed a search warrant in Wasaga Beach which led to an arrest and drug related charges.

OPP initiated a drug trafficking investigation in January involving an individual who was allegedly trafficking drugs in Wasaga Beach and Collingwood.

On March 20, at approximately 2:30 p.m., OPP executed a search warrant at a residence.

During the search, officers seized:

  • 11.5 grams of Cocaine
  • $280 in Canadian Currency
  • A cellular device
  • 2 tablets of suspected Percocet

A 22-year-old of Wasaga Beach was arrested and charged with possession of drugs and trafficking.

The accused is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
