Watches, jewellery stolen from home in Barrie’s east end

A bathroom window was broken to gain entry

Barrie Police are investigating the theft of jewellery and watches from a home in the Napier and Puget Street neighbourhood.

The homeowner says the house was empty between 9:45 and 11:30 Thursday morning. Neighbours told him they saw two white men enter the backyard during that time but thought nothing of it since landscapers visit the home weekly.

A bathroom window was broken to gain entry.

Missing is a collection of watches (see banner image above, diamond earrings, as well as a gold heart-shaped locket, a gold necklace, and a silver bar necklace with (similar to that pictured below). All necklaces have a name or a letter engraved on them.

Following is a list of the watches missing, provided by the owner:

  • 1982 Yellow Gold Rolex Day-Date Quartz
  • 1944 Yellow Gold Omega Bumper 
  • Bristling Navitimer
  • 2019 Rolex GMT Master 2
  • 2019 Rolex Submariner 
  • 1989 Rolex Submariner
