Weapons call leads to Hold and Secure at Orillia high school

Police in Orillia have charged a male youth with Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Uttering Threats, and more.

OPP were called just before noon Tuesday regarding a student armed with a knife and threatening to harm another student.

The school was placed in a Hold and Secure while police conducted their investigation.

Just after noon, officers located the suspect at a local establishment.
