Traffic stop in Orillia leads to seizure of guns and drugs

A Smith and Wesson revolver, a prohibited knife, police pepper spray, and a taser are among the items collected by OPP officers during a traffic stop on July 6 in Orillia.

Officers, who had pulled over a suspected impaired driver on Barrie Road, also seized quantities of fentanyl, cocaine and other drugs.

A 41-year-old from Barrie and a 38-year-old from North York are facing numerous drug and weapons-related charges.
