West Barrie Fire Deemed Suspicious
Police, Fire Marshal Running Parallel Investigations
Investigators with the Barrie Police are looking for witnesses, after deeming an Edgehill Drive Fire to be suspicious in nature.
First Responders were called to a cluster of homes on Edgehill, just west of Ferndale Drive shortly before midnight, while three under-construction apartment buildings were completely destroyed by flame. Two neighbouring homes also suffered significant damage in the blaze.

The Office of the Fire Marshal was called in after the blaze and continue a parallel investigation, while Barrie Police are treating this as suspicious.
