She ruled the roost in Mississauga for 36 years. Retiring as one of Canada's longest serving mayors at age 93. A feisty, no-nonsense champion of the people, and a role model for many politicians ... Former Barrie Mayor Jeff Lehman among them. He joined us to pay tribute to Hazel.

Hazel McCallion served 12 successive terms as Mayor of Mississauga, and was always a landslide choice.

2. Boots & Hearts Music Festival Announce the Full 2023 Lineup

A big line-up and a big change to this year's Boots and Hearts Festival lineup at Burls Creek. Barrie 360's MJ gets the goods from Brooke Dunford, talent buyer for Republic Live , which puts the festival together…

Artists joining this year's festival include: Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Nickelback, Tim Hicks, Hardy, Josh Ross, Bailey Zimmerman, and so many more.

3. Local Country Artist Parker Graye Gets Surprise Offer To Play Boots & Hearts

Speaking of Boots & Hearts ... how about that moment you find out your dream is coming true?

Brooke joined country publication Front Porch Music to surprise a local artist with some news. Parker Graye, an Orillia singer who would love nothing better than to be on stage at Boots and Hearts, got the surprise of her career.

4. What Is Going On With Barrie's City Water?

We drink it, bathe in it, cook with it ... and complain about it.

A lot.

The City of Barrie reaching out to residents for their thoughts on the water supply through an online survey on the city's website. Barrie 360's Ian MacLennan put a call in to Diane Moreau, the city's manager of Water Operations to address some of the myths around the water supply…

5. "We Will Rock You" Musical By Kempenfelt Community Players
