When A Hashtag Isn’t Enough

While #BellLetsTalkDay Does Raise Awareness, There Are Other Avenues For Those Needing To Talk Now

Today is #BellLetsTalkDay, a decade-long initiative to raise money and awareness of mental wellness.

For every text, tweet, or post containing the hashtag, the media giant Bell will donate 5 cents to mental health initiatives. While this is a great way to make folks aware of the stigma surrounding mental health, some say it doesn’t do much to help those who need it right now.
