The York Regional Police Service is reaching out to the public for help after bullet holes were found in an East Gwillimbury neighbourhood.
Officers were called to the area of Highway 11 and Dog Wood Blvd. around 9 p.m. Friday, March 5, with reports of shots fired. They arrived to speak to a man who wasn’t hurt, but bullet holes were found in his vehicle.
Police believe this was a targetted incident, saying it appears two suspects drove up in a black, four-door sedan with tinted windows and fired several shots at the victim’s vehicle before driving off. Residents can expect an increased police presence in the area.
