A nasty crash on Aspdin Road in Huntsville resulted in a 24-year-old woman being airlifted to a Sudbury hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

OPP say they were called to a collision involving two vehicles just before six on Tuesday evening.

All other occupants of the vehicles were transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.

A 55-year-old Parry Sound man has been charged with impaired driving and two counts of operation of a motor vehicle while impaired causing bodily harm.

The investigation into the cause of the collision is still ongoing and anyone with dash camera footage or other information related to this incident is asked to contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or the Huntsville Detachment at 705-789-5551.

The accused is scheduled to appear in court on June 7.
