A 22-year-old King Township woman is facing numerous charges after South Simcoe Police (SSP) responded to a property on the 7th Line of Innisfil on Tuesday evening where a person was allegedly damaging a vehicle with a golf club.
When the individual was taken into custody, police say the suspect was uncooperative and allegedly uttered threats to a member of the public and assaulted two officers by kicking them.
The investigation determined the occurrence had begun with the suspect confronted another person at the location while possessing a sharp barbeque tool, according to a police news release.
The accused was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, mischief under $5,000, uttering threats to cause death, and two counts of assaulting a peace officer.
The woman was held for a bail hearing.
