Youth, adult arrested in Angus as part of drug trafficking probe

Provincial police executed a search warrant at a residence in Angus on Wednesday as a result of a drug trafficking investigation.

The Caledon Community Street Crime Unit of the OPP, with assistance from the OPP Tactical Response Unit carried out the warrant and took one adult and one youth into custody.

A 39-year-old Angus man has been charged with:

·      Fail to comply with an undertaking

A 15-year-old of Scarborough has been charged with:

·      Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - opioid (other than heroin)

·      Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine

·      Obstruct peace officer

·      Possession proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford on September 15, 2022
