Youths get egged in New Tecumseth and OPP aren’t impressed

The incident was captured on numerous residential surveillance systems

If OPP locate the suspects involved in the egging of some youths in New Tecumseth, the yolk will be on them.

Police are taking seriously an incident that is alleged to have happened around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday March 18 in the area of Jenkins Avenue and Martin Trail.

A group of youths were walking when they saw a white Kia Sorrento, with a large white sticker on the left rear window, driven by a female. A male was partially out the rear driver’s side window and threw a number of eggs, striking two of the youth.

The incident was captured on numerous residential surveillance systems. Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects.

OPP said they are treating the incident as a case of dangerous driving and assault with a weapon.
