2019 Women In Business Award Winners Announced
“Direct correlation between diversity and innovation”
The Barrie Chamber of Commerce handed out the Women in Business awards. The 2nd annual event was sold out, as more than 300 people gathered at Liberty North for the affair.
6 deserving women took home trophies. The winners are as follows:

Keynote speaker Natalie Harris also addressed the crowd, taking those in attendance on a “journey from darkness to light“. Harris, a retired paramedic and currently the only woman on Barrie City council, is a fierce mental health advocate. Harris told the crowd she believes there “is a direct correlation between diversity and innovation”
