The Royal Distributing Cup
This weekend at Georgian Downs is the 12th Annual Royal Distributing Cup National Snowcross Races. There will be family-friendly activities (Including free admission for kids under 12 on Sunday) and tons of races including snowmobile, snow bike, UTV, and more. Grab a pass for the whole weekend for $50 or a single day pass for $30.

Kente Cloth Workshop
The Maclaren Art Centre is celebrating Black History Month with a Kente Cloth Workshop for kids age three to eight. Regional artist Sean George will lead families and explore the history and function of Kente Cloth while helping you create your own Kente inspired designs. This event is only $5 and you can sign up at 1:00 PM on the day of the workshop.

Family Day Festival
Friday Harbour will be flush with things to do this weekend at their Family Day Festival happening this weekend. There will be live performances, a winter vendor market, skating with Olaf and Elsa, and tons more. The main event is a professional ice-carving event where teams will battle it out for huge cash prizes.

Coldest Night Of the Year Kick-Off Party
The Coldest Night of the Year is an annual fundraising event that raises money for Youth Haven in Barrie. This year, Multi Tech Audio Visual is throwing a kick-off party at Lions Gate Banquet Centre with dancing, prizes, silent auctions and more. Tickets are $80 and all proceeds with go to support Youth Haven.

North Bay Battalion vs Barrie Colts
This Saturday the Barrie Colts will take on the visiting North Bay Battalion at the Sadlon Arena. The Colts have been on fire with their new coach behind the bench but the Battalion have lost their last seven games so they will be very hungry for a win.

Princess Margarete Home Lottery
The Princess Margarete Home Lottery kicked off again this year with their biggest grand prize ever; a $5.2 million showhome, a $1.2 million cottage, and $500,000 cash. All money raised through the lottery goes to support the life-saving work done by the Princess Margaret Cancer Research Centre and starting on February 15th the luxurious showhome will be open to the public (at certain times).
