Barrie Spring and Garden Show
Say hello to spring this weekend, March 16th-17th, at Bradford Greenhouses Garden Gallery. Check out the Barrie Spring and Garden Show for inspiration toward reinventing your living space! Explore ideas in home renovation, landscaping and interior design.
The show will run Saturday 10 am-5 pm and Sunday 10 am-4 pm. Admission and parking is free.
Spring Fling @ Snow Valley
The forecast is calling for a beautiful winter day on Saturday and what better place to spend it than on the slopes? On March 16th Snow Valley is hosting their "Spring Fling" event including pizza box races, dual slalom race and a department tug-o-war challenge.
Registration will take place at the information desk starting at 8:30 am.
The Great Canadian Butter Tart Fest
This event is a bit of a drive from Barrie but worth it for those butter tart lovers. On March 17th from 10 am-4 pm Orangeville Fairgrounds will host The Great Canadian Butter Tart Fest. Top bakers from across Ontario will compete for the title of best butter tart and you're invited to be a part of the judging panel!

Line Dancing @ The Ranch
Get your country groove on this Saturday! On March 16th, George Leitch and his crew will be at The Ranch leading a fun night of country line dancing and couples two step. The event will run from 8 pm-11 pm.
Drop-In Sports @ The Rec Centres
There will be a number of drop-in sessions at the Holly, East Bayfield and Allandale Rec Centres March 16th-17th including volleyball, swimming, skating and basketball. Check out the schedules here.
MEC Crew Run
Looking to get out for some excercise but need a little extra encouragement? Join the the MEC (Mountain Equipment Co-op) Running Crew for free! The group meets every Saturday at MEC Barrie at 9 am. Be prepared to run approximately 8-10 km through the city.

Barrie Farmer's Market
Swing by the Barrie Farmer's Market on March 16th for all sorts of local goodies. Not only is the market a great shopping experience, but also a great social experience. It's a wonderful way to start your day and support local.
The Barrie Farmer's Market runs every Saturday at City Hall from 8 am-noon.
