Barrie police are investigating after a report of an altercation at the Georgian Mall around 6:40 p.m. Monday involving several teenagers, including one chasing others with a weapon.
Police searched the mall but were unable to find any suspects or victims.
There were several people in the mall at the time of the incident, and police said they obtained cell phone video that shows one male armed with a machete chasing others.
During a search outside the building, officers located a large machete in the snow that is believed to be the weapon seen in the video.
