Ontario Provincial Police have laid charges after they were alerted around 6:15 Sunday morning to reports of a wrong-way driver on Highway 400 in Springwater Township.

Additional calls then reported the vehicle crossed the centre median and collided with another vehicle.

Police say as a result of the investigation, a 60-year-old Tiny Township woman was charged with impaired driving and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
