
Provincial police are investigating a serious single-vehicle collision in Tiny on Wednesday that hospitalized two.
Southern Georgian Bay OPP, along with Tiny Township Fire and Simcoe County Paramedics, responded to a reported collision around 8:45 a.m. on Concession Road 17 West at Cedar Point Road where a vehicle had rolled over.
Police say bystanders were assisting at the scene prior to the arrival of emergency responders. Eventually, first responders extricated one individual trapped beneath the vehicle, who was then airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre.
Another occupant was brought to Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland for treatment of their injuries.
Police say the OPP aviation and the OPP Central Region canine units were utilized to search for any additional injured parties in the area. Investigators are still trying to determine whop was driving the vehicle at the time of the incident and if there were any other occupants.
The OPP Central Region Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) team is assisting with the investigation, which is ongoing.
