Shipping Container Space has shopping, Food and a Brewery

This new public space in Toronto is constructed out of shipping containers

There's a new space to check out next time you head South down the 400 for a day in Toronto, shopping or taking in a Jays game. The space is called Stackt, and it officially opened its doors Wednesday. The unique thing about this place is that it was Developed from 120 new and reclaimed shipping containers.

"Our food & beverage program represents the best and brightest in today's culinary world, offering a unique opportunity to both chefs and patrons to experiment with food through a series of short-term chef residency opportunities," says Michael Sullivan, Head of Food & Beverage at stackt.

LGA Architectural Partners designed the cultural marketplace to house a mixture of local, national, and international retail brands, innovative food and beverage experiences. That includes the Belgian Moon Brewery, who will run the first-of-its-kind mobile brewery.

stacktmarket.com is open Monday to Saturday from 10AM to 7PM and Sunday from 11AM to 6PM with the Belgian Moon Brewery open Sunday to Wednesday from 11AM to 11PM and Thursday to Saturday from 11AM to 12AM.
