Fall Festival At Chappell Farms
Chappell Farms is hosting its Fall Festival with tons of family-friendly activities. There are animals, haunted tent, Boo Barn, pumpkin picking, magic shows, wagon and train rides, along with a jumping castle and a corn maze. The festival runs from 10 AM to 6 PM all weekend long and admission is only $14.
Barrie Film Festival
Movie lovers rejoice! The Barrie Film Festival is still on and this is your last weekend to grab some tickets. With terrific films like "Peanut Butter Falcon" starring Shia LaBeouf and many others, make sure you grab some popcorn and enjoy yourself. There is also one last special event you can check out: the film festivals after-party at the Common Good Cafe & Social House.

This weekend is also your last chance to head to Drysdale's Tree Farm for their Halloween festivities. Both Saturday and Sunday have tons of family-friendly activities including an obstacle course, face painting, train rides, a bonfire with marshmallows, and much more. Be sure to check out the "Psycho-Path" Wagon Ride for ages 13 and up too.

Pumpkinferno
Is your Instagram looking a little drab? Pumpkinferno is the perfect place to spice it up. From giant sharks to unicorns, the artificial pumpkin carvings are truly a spectacle to behold. Pumpkinferno takes place every night from 7 PM to 10 PM until October 30th and tickets are only $8.

October Tasting Trail
You won't get many opportunities like this to try so many of Downtown Barrie's amazing culinary experiences. Pick up an October Tasting Trail passport for $10 from any of the participating restaurants and get it stamped while enjoying samples from places like Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery, Little Bitty, and more. Get at least 10 stamps and you could win a prize pack worth over $250.

Wizards Festival
Pursue that flighty temptress called adventure at Wizards Festival presented by the York-Durham Heritage Railway. There will be interactive shows, potions classes, horcrux maze, magic shows, and even defense against the dark arts classes. You can even get tickets to a special train ride to help transport two wizards to a magical prison. Wizards Festival takes place on October 26th and 27th from 10 AM to 9 PM and tickets are only $25 (train ride is extra).

For the 7th year in a row, the Barrie Indian Association is proudly hosting Barrie's Diwali Bash; a night full of food, culture, and entertainment. There will be a dinner provided by Taj Bistro, performances from Shaan Punjab Dee & Infuzion Artistry, and a Bollywood inspired fashion show and dance. Barrie's Diwali Bash takes place on October 25th at 7 PM and tickets are $30 ($40 at the door).
Haunted Harbour
Friday Harbour is hosting a day of spooky fun with Haunted Harbour: Bewitched On The Boardwalk. There will be a scavenger hunt, kid's activities, psychic readings, face painting, a costume party and more. End the night with a family movie night viewing of Hocus Pocus too. The event kicks off on October 26th at 9 AM and most activities are free.
