Freezin' for a reason! Barrie's Polar Bear Plunge is back again at Centennial Beach which has raised over $40,000 since 2017 in support of the Special Olympics. Raise some more money, win some prizes, and take a dip into some icy cold water, all for a fantastic cause.

Polar Bear Plunge

Shatter It!

This Sunday is International Women's Day and Chillz Lounge is hosting a party on Friday to celebrate women in business, from entrepreneurs to executives. Come out for a social night of cocktails and appetizers, all for only $35 with a portion of proceeds going to support Because I'm A Girl.

March 6th - 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM



Polar Rush

If a normal 5km run just isn't wacky enough for you, Horseshoe Resort is hosting a different kind of run full of fun and obstacles. Run, wall climb, crazy carpet you way across Polar Rush's 5km obstacle course and then enjoy a bonfire and post-race refreshments.

March 7th - Registration starts at 7:30 AM


Barrie Colts vs Ottawa 67's

The Barrie Colts will host a visiting Ottawa 67's this Saturday at the Sadlon Arena. The 67's defeated our boys in their last meeting and have been looking pretty stellar this season so it will definitely be a hard-earned win. Get out there and cheer them on!

Boomerang Bags Sewing Bee

Boomerang Bags is a community initiative to reduce the number of one-use plastic bags by offering reusable cloth bags instead. Tons of Barrie's businesses are supporting them and you can help out by cutting, pinning, ironing, or sewing at the Sewing Bee this Sunday at the Barrie Public Library.

March 8th - 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM


David Wilcox Live

David Wilcox and special guest the Carl Rundown Band will be rocking the house at the Ranch this Friday night. Tickets are $40 online or $50 at the door so grab some friends and get ready for a fun, music-filled night.

Princess Margaret Home Lottery

The Princess Margaret Home Lottery is back again raising money for their cancer research center. This year's grand prize is massive with a beautiful $5.2 million dollar home, a breathtaking $1.1 million dollar cottage, and $500 thousand dollars cash. You can even visit the stunning showhome on weekends from noon to 5:00 PM.

March 6th to 8th - 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
