We're all looking for content to stream but sometimes (especially now) one movie just isn't enough. Here are some movie trilogies you can watch for an extended streaming marathon.
John Wick
John Wick, John Wick: Chapter 2, and John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum are all available on Prime Video right now. Reluctantly pulled back into his old life, John Wick follows the main character's quest for revenge. Directed by former stuntmen, this is some of the best action cinema of the last decade. Expertly choreographed with wonderful setpieces and visuals that explode off the screen, all three are an absolute blast to watch.
Back to the Future
When this baby hits 88 miles an hour, you're going to see some serious...well you know. It is probably safe to say most people have seen this series but if it's been a while since you've watched it, there's no time like the present! Doc and Marty are timelessly watchable, likable, and hilarious and you can watch Back to the Future, Back to the Future Part II, and Back to the Future Part III on Prime Video.
The Godfather
Watching all three of these movies is an offer you can't refuse. Widely considered (more of a fact by now) to be one of the greatest gangster epics of all time, watch the Corleone family through decades of their mob life. Al Pacino and Robert De Nero are at the top of their game here. Watch The Godfather, The Godfather: Part II, and The Godfather: Part III on Netflix.
The Lord of the Rings
It's hard to believe the original film is close to 20 years old but it's just as good now as it was when it first released. With an epic story and fantastic practical effects that still hold up today, all three movies are a definite must-watch whether it's your first time or your third. You can watch The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King on Netflix
Batman
Before the Marvel cinematic universe became the last word in superhero films and catapulted them miles ahead of DC, Christopher Nolans Batman trilogy was the best of the best. Anchoring each movie is a fantastic Christian Bale always opposite a wonderfully insane villain (or two). Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Night Rises are all on Netflix.
Jason Bourne
Another fantastic action movie series, the Bourne trilogy offers awesome shootouts, fight scenes, and car chases all wrapped in a spy-thriller story. Matt Damon is fantastic and the second and third films are helmed by the master of action, Paul Greengrass. The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, and The Bourne Ultimatum are all on Prime Video.
Indiana Jones
Another three movies you've probably seen (we don't talk about Kingdom of the Crystal Skull), Indiana Jones is the classic 80's action series starring Harrison Ford as he takes on all manner of cults and Nazis. Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, and The Last Crusade are all on Netflix.
