If you're a fan of the Lord of the Rings, you will be pleased to hear Andy Serkis will be doing a live stream reading of The Hobbit, cover to cover, to raise money for two different UK charities: Best Beginnings and NHS Charities Together.
I want to take you on one of the greatest fantasy adventures ever written. Join me for a 12-hour armchair marathon reading of “The Hobbit”, in aid of two amazing charities which are doing extraordinary work right now to help those most in need@NHSuk @bestbeginnings #hobbitathon pic.twitter.com/q8qIO3diPT

Andy Serkis has been occupying the big screen for over three decades, taking on roles such as Snoke in the new Star Wars trilogy, Caesar in the new Planet of the Apes trilogy, and of course his best-known role, Smeagol/Gollum in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy (this man likes the number three).
Being somewhat of a magician when it comes to transforming his voice, Andy Serkis is sure to bring a ton of whimsy, distinction, and depth to each and every character. Stay tuned to his Twitter and Go Fund Me pages for details on where to watch the live stream.
It kicks off May 8th at 10:00 AM.
