For fans of Toronto sports, the only way to enjoy the game recently has been simply watching it on your TV. Well, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment have just launched a new feature on their existing apps that will give fans new ways to enjoy the game from home.
This new "digital arena" has many features that will connect fans with the team, the arena, and one another. There are predictive trivia games, virtual t-shirt tosses (which earn you points for prizes), live chats and statistics, and you can even see what's up on the jumbotron.
Right now, the digital arena is only available for the Maple Leafs and Raptors but MLSE has promised the experience is also coming for Toronto FC fans as well. No word for Jays, Argos, or Marlies fans yet though.
