On April 23rd the Seasons Centre for Grieving Children held their Annual Tender Hearts Gala and are proud to announce that they smashed their fundraising goals.
Seasons Centre provides peer support and education for children, youth, and families facing the death of a loved ones by providing peer to peer support groups in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory, safe, home-like atmosphere for children, teens, young adults, and caregivers grieving the death of a loved ones; supporting them as they adjust emotionally to regenerate a sense of self and reconstruct their world.
With over 140 guests tuning in to the gala to enjoy the entertainment, stories, food and silent auction, it eclipsed the $40,000 fundraising goal. When all was said and done, the event helped raise nearly $60,000 to support the work done at Seasons Centre!
