After the recent discovery of the remains of 125 children at the former Kamloops Residential School, a local group called The Love Bus Revolution is hosting an online auction to raise money for two charities that support indigenous survivors, spread awareness, and work towards reconciliation.
Titled 'Honour The Stolen Children Auction', there are two ways you can support this initiative: join the online auction and purchase an item or, if you're a fellow creative, organizers are calling for any local makers who can contribute an item to be sold. All proceeds from the event will be donated to these charities: The Indian Residential School Survivors Society and The Orange Shirt Society.
The auction will take place from June 11th to June 13th and for more information or to get involved in the project, head over to their Instagram page.
