Disorderly male arrested by Barrie Police in business parking lot

Barrie Police say they were alerted Wednesday evening about a male who was tossing garbage in a parking lot near 37 Caplan Drive.

According to police, he also punched the passenger side rear fender of a parked car, leaving two dents, and threw rocks at the windows of closed businesses on Barrie View Drive. Inside a store, he discharged a fire extinguisher which required firefighters to attend.

Police arrested a 31-year-old from Alliston in a business parking lot on Bryne Drive.

Police say he is facing charges of break and enter, mischief under $5000, mischief over $5000, and fail to comply with a probation order.

He was later released and is scheduled to appear in court on May 22.
