Motorists will have to do some navigating this weekend as Lakeshore Drive will be closed for the Barrie Waterfront Triathlon.
According to the City of Barrie website, Lakeshore Drive between Simcoe Street and Minet's Point Road will be closed between 6:30 a.m. and 11: a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10 and Sunday, Aug. 11.
Detours in effect: Minet's Point Road - Yonge Street - Burton Avenue - Essa Road -Bradford Street - Simcoe Street.
No through traffic will be allowed and police will be at each intersection.
