A 22-year-old Barrie man was arrested and charged by police in connection to a stabbing incident in Bradford.
South Simcoe police say they responded to an “assist other agency” call near Maplegrove and Kulpin Avenues on Saturday around 1:05 a.m.
"Upon arrival, South Simcoe police met with paramedics who were providing medical care to the victim, a 32-year-old male from Bradford, who sustained a single stab wound and was transported by paramedics to a local trauma centre," officers stated in a release.
"The victim underwent surgery and was placed in stable condition," police added.

Officers arrested the suspect at the scene and he was charged with:
- Aggravated assault
- Assault with a weapon
- Weapons dangerous
- Assault
He was held pending a bail hearing.
Police believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to public safety.
