One left with serious injuries following assault incident in Wasaga Beach

Police believe this was an isolated incident

Huronia West OPP are investigating an assault incident that happened in Wasaga Beach on Saturday morning.

Police say they responded to the report shortly after 2:30 a.m.

They say the victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Police believe this was an isolated incident and there is no concern for public safety.

The Huronia West OPP Crime Unit is continuing to investigate the incident, and anyone with information is asked to call their nearest OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122.

Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000 and not have to appear in court.
