Nottawasaga OPP are investigating a death at Earl Rowe Provincial Park that is considered suspicious in nature.
Officers were called to the park Friday at 11:58 p.m. and eventually located one deceased individual.
Police consider this an isolated incident following preliminary information, suggesting there are no signs of a broader threat.
The location is being actively monitored by police as they investigate and local residents can expect an increased police presence in the area during the investigation period.
OPP say further information will be released as it becomes available.
