A weird new show with a familiar concept is hitting Netflix

yes, definitely weird.

Whether you use to play it as a kid or you're a fan of the Community episode "Geothermal escapism", everyone remembers jumping from couch to table and back again, trying to avoid a floor made of lava.

Whether you used to play it as a kid or you're a fan of the Community episode "Geothermal escapism", everyone remembers jumping from couch to table and back again, trying to avoid a floor made of lava.

On June 19, Netflix is releasing a new series called Floor is Lava which pits two teams against one another as they try to navigate rooms flooded with lava by leaping around various objects and solving puzzles.

This Netflix original looks to be in the vein of other shows like Wipeout and Most Extreme Elimination Challenge (MXC) with just the right combination of dumb and funny.

While it came a little out of left field, everyone could use a bit of a laugh right now and this show looks like it might be worth at least a couple.
