
Two people were taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries after Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say they were assaulted in a wooded area in Gravenhurst.
Just before midnight on Tuesday, police say they responded to a report of an assault west of Muskoka Road South.
Officers converged on the area of Muskoka Road South/County Road 169 and James Street in Gravenhurst overnight, and Manitoba Street in the area of Wellington Street in Bracebridge.
Investigators have since cleared both scenes.
There is no word about any suspects. Police say there is no threat to public safety.
