Nottawasaga OPP say they arrested an Angus man on multiple arrest warrants and seized weapons last week.
"On July 3, members of the Nottawasaga OPP Crime Reduction Unit (CRU), with the assistance of the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) team executed a warrant to enter a dwelling and arrested an individual in the area of Brentwood Road," OPP said in a release.
A 32-year-old was charged with the following:
- Failure to Comply with release order x7
- Unauthorized Possession of weapon x5
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Opioid
OPP say they seized:
- Brass knuckles
- Taser
- Machete
- Nunchucks
- Body armour
- A variety of ammunition including .12 and .20 .308, 30-06 gauge shotgun rounds, .40 calibre, .22 calibre and unknown long gun ammunition.
He was held for a bail hearing and remanded into custody.
