Another day of more recoveries than new cases as Public Health Ontario raises total case count to 18,722

Sixty-eight more lives lost since yesterday's update

Public Health Ontario announced another 412 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been added to the provincial tally. This comes as it confirms 443 more people recovered.

Yesterday, the province announced just over 380 new cases, but only 274 recoveries, but 370 new cases versus 500 recoveries on Monday.

The province-wide caseload stands at 18,722, while over 70% have recovered thus far. Health officials report 68 more people have lost their lives in connection to COVID-19 since yesterday, 1,429 people to date.
