Arrest Made Following Orillia Bank Robbery
Suspect Due In Court Next Week On Charges Including Armed Robbery
Orillia OPP say a man has been arrested in connection to a bank robbery.
Around 4:30 on the afternoon of November 12th, the OPP responded to reports of a robbery at a bank on West St. in Orillia, saying the suspect had gotten some cash after claiming to be armed.
Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of a 31-year-old man, now facing charges including Armed Robbery, Uttering Threats, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and more.
He is expected in a Barrie courthouse early next week
