Barrie Gauging Citizen Safety As It Crafts Plan To Guide Well-Being
Residents Asked to Take Short Survey
Do you feel safe around Barrie? Do you have any ideas on how to improve safety and well-being in town?
A City Hall run survey hopes to find out answers to these questions and more as it works on a Community Safety and Well-Being Plan (CSWB) that would help guide certain safety and social policies. The survey designed to help create this plan would take only a few moments to fill out, with eight questions in total.
You can take the survey here.
The CSWB would focus on four key areas:
Social development; promoting and maintainging community safety and well-being
Prevention; proactively reducing risk
Risk intervention; diminishing situations of elevated risk
Incident response; maintaining effective response time
