The Province held another lottery Wednesday to select operators hoping to open up cannabis shops. The Alcohol and Gaming Commission released the list of companies they approved for licenses. The Province announced a location for Barrie, three locations in Innisfil and one in Collingwood.
The application in Barrie was awarded to Sofia Kuliev for 65 Collier Street. In Innisfil, Ilim Uzunova, Ronen Ackerma and German Olga were all awarded licenses along Commerce Park Drive.
In Collingwood, Louis Laskovski was awarded a license for a proposed location on at 312, Hurontario street.
Those selected will have until the 28th of August to pay mandatory fees associated with licensing. Toronto received 13 licenses during the second round announcement, with 6 more in the GTA.
Northern communities of Kenora, North Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, Thunder Bay and Timmins were also on the list. First Nations reserves will also get 8 licenses through an entirely different naming process.
