A passenger was apprehended by Barrie police but the driver is still being sought after a vehicle rollover on Fairview Road this morning.
Officers say they were notified at 8:14 a.m. about the single-vehicle collision at the intersection of Fairview and Little Avenue.
"A sport utility vehicle that was travelling southbound on Fairview Road failed to negotiate a left turn onto Little Avenue when it mounted the curb, struck a retaining wall, and rolled onto its roof," police said in a release.
"A male driver fled on foot and a female passenger who also fled, was apprehended a short distance away. She was later released after speaking with investigators at the scene."

Little was closed from Jane Crescent to Fairview till around 11:00 a.m. while officers investigated.
"It is unknown if the male driver sustained any injuries and because of this, police are concerned for his well-being," officers say.
"The driver is strongly encouraged to attend Barrie Police Headquarters to bring this investigation to an appropriate and proper conclusion."
