Barrie’s Largest Foodie Night ‘Top Cheflicious’ Returns.

Local Chef's battle for the crown of Top Chef Barrie

It’s exclusive, it’s delicious, it’s referred to as the food event of the year in Barrie and it’s approaching quickly. Top Chef Licious is a chance for those self-titled foodies, the everyday Joes and the who’s who of Barrie to critique local dishes from the area’s best chefs. The night ends with a bang as a crown is given to the new Top Chef Barrie. Top Chef Licious also kicks off the largest food festival in Barrie, Barrielicious.

Organizers Randy Feltis and Ryan Traversy are already licking their chops. Feltis calls it the “best of the best” for local food. “It’s about getting dressed up, sharing some laughs, some drinks and some incredible local food,” says Traversy. He adds that Top Chef Licious is quickly becoming one of the most exciting events of the year. “It’s bigger and better than ever and this year we have the Faris Team as the title sponsor. It’s lining up to be the best one yet.”

The night happens on January 11th at Liberty North in Barrie. There will be10 local chefs, from 10 local restaurants going head-to-head for the title of Top Chef of Barrie.
