Battery Collection Bags Arriving At Your Mailbox
Collection November 4th - 8th
Here’s a chance to get rid of old batteries around the house.
The City of Barrie and Simcoe County are sending out resealable bags for battery curbside collection.
They’ll be sent in mail boxes throughout the week, with pick up dates starting the week of November 4th.
If you don’t get the bags they can be picked up at City Hall.
It all in an effort to keep batteries out of the landfill.
Acceptable batteries include collect standard A, AA, AAA, C, D and 9 volt batteries (both alkaline and heavy duty) and button batteries.
