For over ten years now, Bell Canada has been starting a conversation about the mental health of Canadians and every year on January 28, they contribute donations towards mental health initiatives in Canada.

Bell Canada will contribute five cents for every call, text, tweet, TikTok video, or social media post using the hashtag #BellLetsTalk. They will also donate for every use of their special Facebook frame or Snapchat filter. You can see the total interactions on the Bell Let's Talk Website which (at the time of writing) is just shy of ten million.

The Bell Let's Talk campaign is built on four pillars to promote awareness and action including fighting the stigma surrounding mental health, improving access to care, supporting world-class research, and leading by example in workplace mental health.

With recent events, mental health is more important than ever and Bell Let's Talk Day is a fantastic way to help a fantastic cause and it really couldn't be easier. Besides using the hashtag, you can also help by checking out this page which includes recognizing signs of stress, taking care of yourself, taking care of others, connecting to help, and ending stigma.
