Bracebridge gets a touch of Hollywood!

You better watch out, you better not cry
"A Knight Before Christmas"

You better not pout, I'm telling you why, because Netflix is coming to town! Filming "The Knight Before Christmas", Netflix will be shooting part of the movie on May 15th in Downtown Bracebridge.

During filming, there will be a few road closures and parking restrictions. Starting at 4:00 PM until 6:00 AM, Manitoba Street from Taylor Road to Ontario Street and Taylor Road from Hiram Street to Manitoba Street will be closed. There will also be parking restrictions on the lower end of Manitoba Street starting at 3:00 PM on May 15th and a full parking lot closure of the Hiram Street Lot and the Granary Lot until May 16th.

Film Crews will be onsite building sets and transforming Downtown Bracebridge for the shoot. People are welcome to come out and watch the activities and continue to eat and shop downtown as businesses will still be open. If you come down during the shoot you may even get to see the star of the movie, Vanessa Hudgens!

Want to be famous? The film is also putting out a casting call for anyone aged 8-70 who is clean shaven, has no visible tattoos on the face, neck, or hands, and doesn't have unorthodox hair colours. Check out the full details here.
