Bradford Man May Have Gotten Too Into His Hallowe’en Costume

Elderly Man Charged with Impersonating an Officer

Employees of a bar on Bradford’s Holland St. called South Simcoe Police to report a customer came in Hallowe’en night, claiming to a police officer and displaying a realistic looking handgun.

Turns out, neither the cop or the gun were real. A search warrant at a Bradford home resulted in the arrest of a 68-year-old man and the seizure of two pellet guns. The suspect faces charges including Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Impersonating an Officer.
