Bradford West Gwillimbury cancelling events, camps, and Carrot Fest through to end of August

Refunds being issued to those who registered for rec programming

Over concerns of COVID-19, the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury has made the decision to cancel all municipally-offered events through to August 31st.

This includes Canada Day and Carrot Fest events, as well as all the town’s registered recreation programs like summer camps and swimming lessons, along with all indoor/outdoor permits. Staff are working on developing a virtual Canada Day event for residents of Bradford West Gwillimbury to enjoy at home.

The process of issuing refunds to registered participants has already begun; any payment made via credit card will have funds returned to the card, while all other payments will be refunded in the form of a credit on the customer’s account. Full refunds can be made by request by emailing leisureservices@townofbwg.com. The town is expecting high volumes and asks for patience as it replies as quickly as possible.
