Burl’s Creek breaks the COVID barrier; announces Endless Summer concert series

Tribute bands, Boots and Hearts, The Trews, Our Lady Peace and more...

The long wait for camping and concerts at Burl’s Creek is over.

“We are excited to reopen! We are ready! We are thrilled about the long-overdue return of live music as we introduce The Endless Summer Concert Series at Burl’s Creek,” said Todd Jenereaux, EVP of Republic Live.

The concerts begin on the Civic Holiday weekend (July 30 – August 1) with a collection of tribute bands. Boots and Hearts returns the following weekend (Aug 6 – 7). And the all-Canadian series continues August 13 and 14 with The Trews and Our Lady Peace headlining.

Ontario’s Step 2 COVID measures will be in effect at the event, including physical distancing, enhanced cleaning and sanitization and mandatory masks in public areas — not unlike the current guidelines in place for restaurant patios, campgrounds and parks.

Concert tickets will be sold only in groups of four, so gather three of your closest friends, pick your favourite show and book your space. But don’t waste time thinking about it. While Burl’s Creek can accommodate as many as 70,000 fans, only 5,000 will be allowed in for the above events.

Exclusive Presale Tickets go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. Public sales begin Friday at 10 a.m.
