The Barrie Business Awards are a longstanding recognition program that celebrates the contribution of local businesses to the continued growth and success of our community. The 2021 celebration will again be presented in a virtual format streaming live on YouTube. Iain Moggach from Theatre by the Bay is our host for the evening, and we are incredibly grateful that he jumped at the opportunity. These awards are not just about a company’s financial success, they are intended to acknowledge a set of values, that recognizes social responsibility, entrepreneurial spirit, risk-taking, ideas, and innovation in our community – all of which contribute to a stronger local economy, the importance of which has been emphasized even more in these past 18 months. On behalf of the Chamber Board, staff and our members, we congratulate all of our nominees. To be a finalist for any category is in itself a great accomplishment.
