Tires in the neighbourhood were slashed

An arrest has been made after a man, allegedly armed with a knife, made it to the front door of Premier Ford’s house Monday evening and started yelling threats.

The premier was not home at the time.

Prior to that, the tires on a number of vehicles in the neighbourhood were slashed.

A 44-year-old man has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and 11 counts of mischief to property.

Toronto Police are discussing security around Ford’s house with the OPP.
